How can you "snow" with a newer TV / VCR / etc …?
I have an older 42in. Plasma, that "classic" burn Lines from watching too much 4:3 TV. I've heard that if you do a "snow" channel (as we can get it to antenna used with the old System is switched on and in an unused channel) for a while (overnight). There should be some degree of healing of the burn process, both my VCR, DVD, TV and all directly to the black or blue screen when it detects no signal. Is there a way to bypass the screen "black" in some way and let the Snow to fly? I even tried hooking my old Betamax (late 70s), since it doesn't have the "not static" function, but it still does not fly. Any ideas? I'm almost never afraid to ask if there is a DVD of static …. thank you
Snow is not really the best thing for them. Most manufacturers now recommend a solid white or red this picture. One way to do this is to create a JPEG from white or red with Microsoft Paint, and putting it on a CD. Most DVD players will read JPEG discs. Put this in your DVD player, and leave it on your TV for 20 minutes. Then take it out and check it. If you do not fix it again. Make sure NOT DISPLAY it for more than 45 minutes. What this is essentially "burn" all the pixels at a given Point to achieve. Many new TVs have built a function like this in the event this happens. Try it with the white and red, to see which gives you the best performance. There are a few calibration DVDs out there that have color screens blank. If you have a Best Buy in your area to ask whether one of their shop demo DVDs from the previous month it has to have a maintenance function in the menu of the disc, the red and white umbrellas plays specifically for this purpose. You can let you have it, especially if you explain them, what happens, each branch is quite a few each month. I know national training for it (not working for Best Buy), so I have played countless times that with CD. I hope that this helped.
